Service Projects      

Members of the club spend time each year helping out in the local and
international community by:

• Providing and serving a free meal at the Community Banquet for over 300 people
• Donating winter coats, books and school supplies to local children
• Sponsoring political forums
• Donating used business clothing to women re-entering the workforce
• Providing gifts to female veterans at the State Veteran's Home
• Cleaning & organizing the donation closet at the violence shelter
• Assisting with lawn care for elderly woman
• Providing lunch for Habitat for Humanity workers
• Funding $4000 in high school and college scholarships for young women
• Distributing over $8000 in grants annually to various local charities who share Zonta's mission to advance the status of women worldwide
• Contributing more than $3000 annually to Zonta International service projects in 3rd world countries and Zonta International scholarships
