Fundraising

The Zonta Club of Laramie has a variety of fundraising projects that assist in the funding of service projects that support the mission of Zonta. Our main fundraisers included a Style Show and Rose Day.

The Style Show is generally held in November and held at the Hilton Garden Inn & UW Conference Center. Clothing for men, women and children was provided by local merchants and modeled at the event. The 2011 Style Show will mark the 27th anniversary of this great tradition. Funds raised through this event were used to support a myriad of local service projects, scholarships, and Zonta International programs. Funds raised from the Style assist in local programs that support the mission of Zonta.

Yellow roses are sold by Zontians to commemorate International Women's Day in March. Zontians honor co-workers, friends and family by purchasing a rose, which is then delivered by a Zontian. Funds raised through this effort were used to support Zonta International service projects and programs.

This year, Zontians purchased t-shirts and vests that were created with the Zonta logo by local business owner and former Laramie Zontian, Stephanie Carter. These t-shirts are still available and can be ordered through. Order your t-shirt or vest today on our website. Questions? Contact the Zonta Club of Laramie at LaramieZonta@gmail.com. Funds raised through this effort will be used to offset the cost of registration and travel to the District 12 Conference in Laramie in October.
