Meeting Information
Meetings are held the first Monday of every month at LaDolce Vita Restaurant on Castle Pines Parkway in Castle Pines North.
Meetings alternate between lunch (beginning at 11:30 a.m.) and dinner (beginning at 5:30).

Women's Hall of Fame Historian to
speak at March 5th Zonta Club
of Douglas County Meeting

CASTLE PINES, CO - Feb. 27, 2012 - Dr. Marcia Goldstein, historian for the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame (www.cogreatwomen.org), will give a presentation, "Denver Women in Their Places: A Guide to Women's History Sites in Denver", at the Monday, March 5 meeting of the Zonta Club of Douglas County. The meeting will be held at La Dolce Vita restaurant at 361 Village Square Lane in Castle Pines, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Goldstein is a history instructor at Arapahoe community College. She holds an M.A. in American history from University of Colorado in Denver and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is the author of Denver Women in Their Places: A Guide to Women's History Sites (2002), one of the popular series of guidebooks published by Historic Denver, Inc. Stemming from her focus on suffrage and the political history of women in the American West, Goldstein served as a consultant for One Woman, One Vote (part of the PBS series American Experience). She curated and authored This Shall Be the Land for Women: The Struggle for Suffrage in the West (2000), an on-line exhibit for the Women of the West Museum.
