Artful Women sought
for fall Zonta exhibit

The Zonta International Club of Cañon City is seeking women artists for its Ninth Annual Artful Women exhibit, to be held at National Guard Armory, 110 West Main Street, Cañon City, CO, on October 10-12, 2008.
This is a judged show, and and the judging will be headed by Bonnie Gangelhoff, Senior Editor of Southwest Art Magazine. An entry form is available for download here or by contacting nancbilger@aol.com or by writing to Cañon City Zonta, P.O. Box 1593, Cañon City, CO 81215.
Entry is open to all Colorado women who are at least 18 years of age. Original works may be presented in any two or three dimensional medium, including drawing, painting, print making, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, collage, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Reproductions will not be accepted and work previously exhibited at Fremont Center for the Arts is not eligible. Please see entry form for more information.
Awards will be announced at the Opening Reception scheduled for October 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00. There will be two divisions: Advanced and Emerging Artist. Awards are: Overall Best of Show - $400, People's Choice - $100. and in each division: First Place - $200, Second Place - $100, Third Place - $50, and Honorable Mention - ribbon.

Artist entries must be received by September 26, 2008.
