WOMEN'S SCHOLARSHIP
|
The Zonta Club of the Cañon City Area is offering a scholarship to
Fremont County women who are at least 25 years old and attending college
level courses in academic, vocational, or para-professional areas. Women
who are heads of household or have a financially dependent family are
particularly encouraged to apply.
Application must be made by September 25, 2008. The scholarship will be awarded October 1, 2008. Those interested may request an application by writing : Scholarship Committee, Zonta Club of Cañon City/Royal Gorge, P.O. Box 1593, Cañon City, CO 81215 Zonta is an international service organization of business executives and Professionals working to improve legal, political, economic, and professional status of women. Currently, there are 34,000 members in 70 countries. |
